Ethos-Aegis:DeontewattsV1 的白细胞防御框架 AI 免疫架构
DeontewattsV1/Ethos-Aegis-
DeontewattsV1 发布 Ethos-Aegis,一套将生物免疫机制映射为计算基础设施的"主权 AI 免疫架构",包含白细胞防御框架与 Vitality Protocol 升级系统。
Sovereign AI Immune Architecture
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." -- John 1:5
The Architecture: Leukocyte Defense Framework
Every biological defense mechanism is mapped into rigorous computational infrastructure. The immune system does not merely react to pathogens -- it learns, remembers, and anticipates. So too must the machines we build acquire the architecture of moral resilience.

4D Video Board
The board animates itself: hunter cells engage threats across the full pipeline -- signature scan, heuristic, behavior, sandbox, quarantine, neutralize.
Leukocyte Cell Models — Vitality Protocol Visual Upgrade
The animated 4D board now uses leukocyte-inspired defense cells modeled after the visual language of the Leukocyte Defense Framework and Vitality Protocol — Upgrade System diagrams. The updated cells feature translucent, irregular membranes, three-lobed nuclei, cytoplasmic granules, and short pseudopods, rather than simple glowing spheres.
| Cell visual | Defense role | Appearance in the 4D board |
|---|---|---|
| Cyan / teal leukocytes | VanguardProbe / SanitasSwarm — detection and purification | Granular turquoise cytoplasm, lobed violet nucleus, luminous membrane, and probing extensions |
| Gold leukocytes | FinalityForge — adjudication and response visualization | Warm gold membrane and granules, lobed nucleus, and coordinated engagement effects |
| Identity-tinted leukocytes | Other defense cells, including LogosScythe, MnemosyneCache, TaintBeacon, and CytokineCommand | The compact 2D board uses distinct tints with the same leukocyte-inspired anatomy |

The WebGL scene retains orbit, zoom, pause, threat selection, response animations, and performance fallback; the animated SVG above plays inline in compatible README viewers. These are illustrative simulations, not live scans, biological models, or evidence that security actions were executed.
Pick a threat and open its run. The board uses the same manifold as ethos_4d: X node, Y task state, Z ethical weight, T tick. Scans are signature, heuristic, behavior, cloud, and sandbox. Answers are quarantine, deletion, remediation, and blocking execution. This is a visualization of the model. It does not scan your machine.
| Threat | What it is | Scan | Answer | Open |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MoralMaligna | Injection / jailbreak text | Heuristic | Block | Run |
| NarcissisMaligna | Virus that rewrites the instruction | Behavioral | Quarantine | Run |
| ParasiticMaligna | Drain loop | Behavioral | Block | Run |
| SystemicMaligna | Cross-layer mutation | Cloud | Remediation | Run |
| SymbolicMaligna | Homoglyph / bad signature | Signature | Deletion | Run |
| MetaMaligna | Quiet until isolated | Sandbox | Quarantine | Run |
GitHub cannot run the scene inside this README. Each link opens the live board with that threat already loaded. Create another mix there, or record the run. The board page is board.html at the repository root -- serve the repo over GitHub Pages (Settings, Pages, deploy from main / root) or open docs/4d-immersive/index.html locally.
Integrated Security Systems — Video Walkthroughs
The scoped security systems incorporated into Ethos Aegis are demonstrated with branded recordings built from actual local command output and synthetic inputs. These walkthroughs show observable implementation behavior; they are not live upstream scans and do not imply authorization to assess systems you do not own or have written permission to test.

The security workflow normalizes evidence from TruffleHog, Sherlock, Ghidra, mitmproxy, and ESP32 Marauder into Ethos Aegis' scoped evidence model. Execution and network access remain explicit opt-ins; raw credentials, packet bodies, identifiers, and other sensitive source material are intentionally excluded from normalized demo output.
| Integrated system | Ethos Aegis visualization / evidence role |
|---|---|
| TruffleHog | Credential-exposure observations and provenance-safe evidence normalization |
| Sherlock | Explicit username/site-scope observations with separate network authorization |
| Ghidra | Static binary inventory through disposable headless analysis |
| mitmproxy | Sanitized application-egress observations without retaining headers or bodies |
| ESP32 Marauder | Operator-controlled WiFi/Bluetooth lab inventory summaries |
See the recorded walkthrough guide and Security Toolkit integration guide for reproduction commands, scope requirements, and support boundaries.

Engineering Cell System — Proposed Design
The defense cells below define a proposed engineering work system built around the existing Aegis components and agent harness. This is a design contract, not a claim that these controls are deployed or that this project is an Anthropic product.
Each work order carries an objective, repository revision, permitted capabilities, path scopes, trusted execution environment, approved secret purposes, output destination, deadline, resource budget, and required verification evidence. A thin orchestrator dispatches bounded tasks and checkpoints progress. Read-only analysis can run concurrently; mutations require explicit authorization and verification.

Loading
| Cell | Engineering responsibility | Required evidence or limit |
|---|---|---|
| VanguardProbe | Validate incoming work orders and scan entry payloads | Reject malformed requests; bound input size and scan cost |
| LogosScythe | Examine semantic threats and conflicting instructions | Report reasons and uncertainty; detection cannot grant authority |
| MnemosyneCache | Retain verified signatures and selected durable facts | Record provenance, access controls, versions, expiration, and deletion tombstones |
| SanitasSwarm | Normalize Unicode and inspect ambiguous identifiers | Preserve original evidence; normalization cannot expand authorized paths |
| EntropicWatch | Enforce time, token, iteration, and resource budgets | Stop runaway work; spawning stays within the original work order |
| TaintBeacon | Broadcast classified risk and audit signals | Redact secrets; constrain event consumers and destinations |
| FinalityForge | Cancel or deny the affected operation | Use scoped enforcement; retain verification and audit evidence |
| CytokineCommand | Dispatch tasks, checkpoint state, and collect verification | Cannot mint capabilities or bypass independent policy decisions |
Cell consensus, model confidence, and vitality scores never authorize a tool call. Authorization must evaluate the actual capability, canonical path, trusted environment, secret purpose, and destination. A Python thread pool does not establish operating-system or network isolation.
Memory Engineering Contract
Memory is separate from the prompt context. Every stage below is required by the proposed system.
| Stage | Responsibility | Integrity rule |
|---|---|---|
| Capture | Select durable or explicitly expiring facts | Keep provenance and consent; exclude credentials and transient session noise |
| Consolidate | Merge duplicates and related evidence | Preserve source history; similarity alone cannot resolve contradictions |
| Retrieve | Surface a small set relevant to the current task | Apply access, validity, and expiration checks before ranking; access is not corroboration |
| Reconcile | Handle changed facts and conflicts | Source authority and explicit supersession matter; a newer timestamp alone does not win |
| Decay | Reduce stale relevance and archive expired entries | Record the last decay operation; durable deletion tombstones prevent resurrection |
Vitality subsystems support maintenance, stress tests, circuit breaking, and telemetry. A health label must be derived from measured checks; it is not a security proof. Emergency cell proliferation must preserve capability limits and resource budgets.
PR #360 Remediation and Merge Gates
The Codex review of PR #360 at commit 8072c6a048239adf8f81e3b5bfeda4399d5db647 requires remediation before that revision is merge-ready. This documentation does not resolve its findings.
| Order | Must-fix repair | Acceptance evidence |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Limit the npm publish credential to the publish step | Dependency installation and build steps receive no publish token |
| 2 | Restore Python test collection and Windows-compatible tracked paths | Full test collection succeeds; Windows path check passes |
| 3 | Repair the authorization boundary: segment-aware path globs, explicit secret-purpose checks, trusted environment selection, and raw secret-output checks before serialization | Negative tests deny nested paths, unapproved purposes, production effects under sandbox grants, and reflected secrets |
| 4 | Cover root repl.ts and scripts/** in CodeQL; enforce security scan failures in the final CI result |
Scans run for relevant changes; failed or unexpectedly skipped required gates block merge |
| 5 | Resolve conflicts with main and validate the resulting merge candidate |
Required CI, platform checks, and a fresh review pass on the exact candidate revision |
Lower-priority cleanup includes the Dependabot configuration location, REPL failure reporting, safe history serialization, and redundant gated-grant selection. The missing Pages entry point becomes a release blocker if Pages deployment is part of the release.
Go/no-go: no-go for the reviewed PR #360 revision until the must-fix repairs and merge-candidate checks pass.
Quickstart
The repository contains two distinct Python distributions: python/pyproject.toml defines the immune-system package ethos-aegis 1.0.0, Python 3.10+, with no mandatory third-party runtime dependencies declared and MIT component metadata; the root pyproject.toml defines the governance engine ethos-aegis-governance 0.1.0, Python 3.12+, with seven direct dependencies (pydantic, pydantic-settings, neo4j, networkx, pyyaml, structlog, and rich) and root CC0 metadata. Wheel builds and CI determine installable behavior; the GitHub v1.0.0 tag does not establish PyPI availability. Both builds are intentionally separated so neither package can overwrite the other's distribution name.
For a source checkout, the declared installation command is:
From the repository root, install the immune-system package used by the example below:
python -m pip install -e ./python
For the separate governance engine (Python 3.12+ and seven required dependencies), use python -m pip install -e . from the repository root. These are local editable installs; PyPI publication is not implied.

4D Immersive Visual Module
The ethos_4d package maps every task lifecycle into a four-dimensional ethical spacetime manifold:
| Dimension | Axis | Range |
|---|---|---|
| X | NodeType | 0 -- 9 |
| Y | TaskState | 0 -- 10 |
| Z | Ethical weight | 0.0 -- 1.0 |
| T | Simulation tick | R+ |
python -m ethos_4d.test_harness pytest tests/test_4d_visual.py -v
The same axes drive the 4D video board.
Summary
Implements the full agent harness architecture as a new ethos_aegis/harness/ module, directly derived from the synthesized research across Anthropic, OpenAI, LangChain, and the practitioner community.

Key design decisions
- Thin harness: orchestration loop is intentionally a "dumb loop" — all intelligence in the model (Anthropic pattern)
- Aegis integration: every input/output/tool call passes through the EthosAegis immune system via
GuardrailLayer - Lost in the Middle mitigation: high-signal tokens positioned at START and END of assembled prompt
- Observation masking: JetBrains Junie strategy — hide old tool outputs, keep tool calls visible
- Ralph Loop: two-phase progress file pattern for multi-session long-running tasks
- Parallel readonly tools: concurrent
ThreadPoolExecutorfor read-only, serial for mutating - Verification-first: Boris Cherny 2–3x quality improvement via mandatory verify step
Tests
- 39 new unit tests in
tests/test_harness.py - Historical test report: 253 passed, 6 skipped, 0 failed. Re-run current tests and required CI before claiming current validation.
Release
See CHANGELOG.md for history. GitHub Release v1.0.0 (June 11, 2026) had no attached release assets when inspected. The ethos-aegis 1.0.0 Python subtree and ethos-aegis-governance 0.1.0 root distribution have different dependencies and supported Python versions. Release Packages #490 successfully pushed the Node SDK container to ghcr.io/deontewattsv1/ethos-aegis; the registry package's public visibility and anonymous pull access are not verified. Python distributions are not published through that workflow. Production certification and universal zero-dependency claims are not made.
Visual release assets
The visual-assets workflow is designed to build PNGs, checksums, and ZIP/TAR bundles. Do not assume existing releases have these attachments: v1.0.0 currently has zero attached assets. A manual dispatch with a blank release_tag is intended to produce workflow artifacts only; backfilling a release with a tag requires a validated workflow run and verified attachments.

License, pricing, and availability — clarification pending
Approved licensing direction for future releases: preserve applicable existing public-source grants and offer optional paid hosting, support, integration, and separately identified future proprietary features. The root LICENSE contains CC0 1.0 Universal, the Python subtree includes an MIT notice consistent with its metadata, SDK components retain their own MIT notices, and the private Node docs scaffold declares Apache-2.0 metadata. Applicable rights are component-specific; older valid CC0 grants are not rescinded. LICENSE_COMMERCIAL.md now describes optional prospective paid services, not an obligation to buy a license to use code already freely granted. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. A final rights/provenance review remains required before external package release.
Product Hunt pricing recommendation: Free for the presently accessible public source/demo offering, provided it remains free at launch. The optional Indie ($99/year), Startup ($499/year), Business ($1,499/year) and quoted Enterprise service tiers are proposed, not verified purchasable plans. Switch to Paid (with a free plan) only after an actual paid service with fulfillment and checkout exists alongside the free offering. Leave promo and funding fields unasserted until verified.
Availability and demos: The GitHub repository and interactive GitHub Pages board are public. The README includes three recorded security walkthroughs (toolkit, immune pipeline, VeriFlow) and previews in docs/demos/. At the October 8, 2026 live website check, these walkthroughs were not displayed on the landing page, and /docs/demos/toolkit.mp4, /docs/demos/immune.mp4, and /docs/demos/veriflow.mp4 each returned HTTP 404 under the GitHub Pages origin; the 4D board was reachable. Check the actual Pages publishing source, deployed artifact contents, and media playback before advertising the videos as live website features.
Security illustrations and demos are not evidence of production certification or autonomous live protection. Verify installation, tests, security review, third-party rights, packaging, licensing, and release artifacts before launch. Record evidence and conditional Product Hunt selection in the Product Hunt launch-readiness checklist.
