Welcome to transcribee, the open-source video transcriber for macOS! This tool will help you turn your video content into text and create a self-organizing knowledge base.

📥 Download & Install

To get started, you need to download transcribee. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the Releases Page: Click the link below to go to the download page.

   

2. Select the Latest Version: On the Releases page, look for the latest version listed at the top. This version includes the most recent updates and fixes.

3. Download the Application: Click the link to download the macOS application. It will be a .dmg file.

4. Install the Application:

   • Open the .dmg file after downloading.
   • Drag the transcribee application into your Applications folder.
   • Eject the disk image once the copying is complete.

5. Run transcribee:

   • Navigate to your Applications folder and find the transcribee icon.
   • Double-click the icon to open it.
   • If prompted, confirm that you want to open the application since it is downloaded from the internet.

• Compatible with macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and later.
• Minimum of 4GB RAM recommended for smooth performance.
• At least 500MB of free disk space for installation.
