DeepSeek models use natively integrated dsh core tools and prompts while retaining enabled Anya plugin and MCP tools plus plugin management. Cache usage, response timing, and retries are recorded. Other models use Anya's general tool set. See DeepSeek integration.

Get started

Alt+Alt captures selected text before the overlay takes focus and displays a compact inline reference tag. Chrome / Edge users can optionally install the Selection Bridge for webpage selection and source URLs.

The Profile settings page shows local usage insights and lets you transfer your profile, settings, and API keys. Treat exported files as sensitive. A factory reset is available from the profile actions.

The chat composer keeps model and thinking controls on the right; on narrow windows, controls collapse to icons. In the overlay and workbench, # suggests skills, plugins, and MCP servers, @ suggests workspace files, and / suggests commands. These suggestions also appear when editing a sent message. When an update is available, open it from the workbench sidebar or Settings → About to review the release notes before installing.

Download and install the MSI from Releases.
Open Settings, add a model provider, and configure its credentials.
Start a chat in the workbench, or double-tap Alt to open the overlay.

Fallback shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + Space.

Permissions are separate from chat mode: Read-only blocks file changes and arbitrary shell commands; Workspace-write allows workspace file edits and asks before each shell command or external-path access; Full-access skips these approval prompts while retaining command safety rules. Approving a request allows that operation once and cannot override Read-only.

The workbench and overlay recover pending questions and approvals when opened or focused. Successful code reads appear as expandable syntax-highlighted cards; click the filename to open a sidebar and highlight the read lines. The sidebar can wrap long lines; when the file has changed, it preserves the captured excerpt and can show the current file context. See permissions and code preview.

The Diff sidebar shows files in one continuous list. Its file tree navigates to a file, collapses automatically when space is tight, and can be toggled manually. Streaming replies and long diff lists defer unnecessary rendering to reduce interface stalls during Agent runs.

Data and privacy

Settings, credentials, and chat history stay on your machine by default. Sending a message sends its text and attached context to your configured model provider. Search, remote MCP, cloud sync, and phone connections also send relevant data to their services or devices when enabled.

Custom background images are stored as local files; runtime settings keep their paths. Readable images are included when you export a portable profile.
