bitHuman makes real-time talking avatars from one portrait. Send speech audio in; get a lip-synced, moving face out, live. Two models:

Essence 2 renders a photoreal person.
Expression 2 renders any character.

Device requirements (Swift)

Expression 2: iPhone or iPad on iOS 16 or newer; a Mac with Apple silicon on macOS 13 or newer.
Essence 2: iPhone or an M-series iPad on iOS 26 or newer (a physical device); a Mac with M3 or newer on macOS 26.

API secret and plans

One API secret works on every surface. Set it as BITHUMAN_API_SECRET. Get one by signing up at https://www.bithuman.ai/developers.
