Download & install F.E.A.R. VR.
This free F.E.A.R. VR mod brings the original single-player campaign into PC virtual reality with tracked hands and physical weapon handling. You need a legitimate copy of the supported GOG F.E.A.R. Platinum Collection or original Steam F.E.A.R. base game, a Windows PC, and a PC VR headset.
Start with the installation guide for supported headset connections and requirements. Download the mod ZIP from GitHub Releases; the base game is not included.

AN INDEPENDENT PROJECT BY THEFREEMIKE
Human vision. AI partnership.
F.E.A.R. VR is a collaboration between Mike and Codex, OpenAI’s AI coding assistant. Mike leads the project, makes gameplay and comfort decisions, and tests in the headset. Codex provides substantial engineering assistance across implementation, debugging, tooling, and documentation.
Private-beta testers help refine the experience through their feedback. This website was also designed and coded with Codex, and the Alma artwork was created with AI. I’m proud to share how it all comes together.
