Microagi says it has reached a $100 million annualized revenue run rate six months after launching Shift, its platform for collecting human activity data for robot training. CEO Bercan Kilic announced the milestone on October 9, as the company builds out its research team and industrial robotics business.

In his announcement on X, Kilic linked the growth directly to the period since Shift’s launch. He also said the company had hosted a Physical AI summit in Europe to accelerate robot distribution.

What the $100 million figure means

Microagi’s promotional graphic labels the milestone “ARR,” but its footnote describes the measure as an “annualized run rate.” That represents a revenue pace expressed over a year, rather than $100 million already earned during the six-month period.

The posts do not explain the calculation, the share backed by recurring contracts, or how revenue is divided between data and robotics deployment activities. Humanoids Daily has not independently verified the figure. The graphic also ranks Microagi as the fastest company to reach the milestone, but does not provide enough methodology to establish that the comparisons use equivalent measures.

Skild AI, which also appears in Microagi’s chart, announced that it had surpassed $100 million ARR ten months after its first commercial deployment, as we reported in September. The starting points differ: Skild measured from its first deployment, while Kilic measures from Shift’s launch. The announcements offer context for commercial growth in physical AI, rather than a directly comparable measure of robot deployments.

From data collection to robot deployment

The announcement follows Microagi’s recruitment of Animesh Garg as chief research officer alongside the Usable Robots team, which we covered in September. His remit includes post-training and self-improvement: adapting robot models so they can perform specific jobs reliably.

Microagi combines Shift’s human activity data with Atlas, its industrial robotics deployment platform. The company’s strategy spans gathering training material and putting robot intelligence to work on customers’ existing hardware.

In his response to the revenue announcement, Garg reiterated the goal of deploying one million robots. He identified accumulating and reusing data, research talent, computing capacity and speed of execution as the ingredients needed to achieve it, and invited researchers and engineers to join the team.

The revenue claim adds a commercial milestone to that ambition. It does not establish how many robots Microagi currently has working at customer sites, or how much of the reported run rate comes from those deployments.
