Questions
Answered honestly
Do I need to be a good writer?
No. Share as little or as much detail as you'd like. Answer a few questions, write a few sentences, or simply tell us what happened in your own words. Novella turns your memories into a story.
What does the free preview include?
You'll first tell Novella your story through a short AI conversation and upload up to 2 photos. We'll then create two pages from your book, so you can see how your story comes to life.
How long does it take to make the book?
Telling your story takes about 15 minutes, or longer if you'd like to share more details. Novella then creates your book. You can review and edit the pages, then send the book to print.
Can I write in a language other than English?
The AI models are best at the major world languages, and may support others too. We recommend English for best results. You can still add sentences, like speech bubbles and captions, in your own language.
How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
Printing, binding and packaging typically take 3 to 5 business days, and can take slightly longer in peak seasons. The carrier then sets the delivery time. Enter your shipping address at checkout to see the shipping options, the cost and the estimated delivery time. Import duties and local taxes, if any, are paid by the recipient and are not included in the shipping rate.
Can I order extra copies?
Yes. Choose the number of copies at checkout or before you confirm the print. Additional copies are $29 each.
What if I don't like the result after payment?
Edit it until it's right. The cover, the dedication page, the story and every illustration can all be changed. If you still don't want to print, cancel before production for a 70% refund and keep the digital copy. Once printing starts, orders can't be refunded.
Who is Novella for?
For anyone. Make one for yourself, or create a Novella as a gift. Add a personal message to the dedication page and we ship it straight to them.
Are my story and photos private?
Yes. Your story and photos are used to make your book, and we may look at content to diagnose issues and verify content before production. We never publish them, sell them, or use them to train AI. You can delete all of your data whenever you'd like.
