A writing studio for novels and series
Finish the storythat’s been waiting.
You write. Authrot keeps track of everything else. Who’s who, what you promised, what chapter 3 already said, so a long story stays straight.

AI blackout
Don’t want AI near your book? Then it isn’t.
Turn on AI blackout and the project is a plain writing studio. No model reads a word of it. Nothing is suggested, drafted or “improved”. No credits are spent, and every AI control leaves the screen, so there is nothing to click by mistake. The story bible, planner, history, co-authors, publishing and export run on your own hands. Set it the moment you create the project; only you can turn it off. And either way, we never train on your writing.
Ch 2 · The Smith’s Girl
Scan a chapter. The bible fills in.
Scan a chapter into your story bible, and Ilsa, Corin and the ember key show up on their own, with every mention pinned in reading order. Anchor the facts that must never change.
Ch 6 · a promise comes due
It remembers what you promised.
The palace fire you set up in chapter 1 is flagged as overdue by chapter 6. A line that breaks an earlier fact is caught, with the fact it breaks right beside it.
Ch 2, revised
Ask for help. Keep the last word.
The assistant reads the book, proposes the exact words to change, and nothing moves until you apply it. It follows your style guide, on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or DeepSeek, whichever you choose. The text from before every edit is kept.
Ch 30 · who’s tied to whom
See the whole cast, and how they’re tied.
Family, rivals, mentors and the places they belong, drawn from what the chapters say. Slide back to any chapter and the web shows it as it stood then.
Book Two · a new face
Names that belong in your world.
Set how each people or place names things, and the name dice roll names that fit. No AI, no credits. When the AI needs a name, it picks from these too.

UsingThe Marches
Narrow down
Built for the long haul.
Two endings
Try the other ending. Lose nothing.
Write it on a branch, or rewind to a chapter and go somewhere new. The bible drops what no longer happened. Every version is kept.
A co-author joins
Bring your co-author into the same chapter.
Live cursors, their own roles and a branch each if they like.
Serial releases
Set the schedule. It publishes on time.
Publish under a pen name, a chapter a week. If one can’t go out, nothing is published and you’re emailed why. Readers get clean pages, sepia or dark.
AI narration
Turn your chapters into narration.
A voice for each character. It plays while the rest is made, and after an edit only the changed paragraphs are narrated again.
Start from a spark
Start with a blurb, a scene or a messy note.
Four steps from the core and the voice to the cast and the world, then the arcs and chapter 1. Write each yourself, or ask for three directions to choose from.
Arc 3 · you’re here
Every arc moves the main plot.
Plan in arcs, each with a goal, what stands in the way and what it costs. Chapters are scanned against them, so you hear when one drifts.
And the things you only notice when they’re missing.
We never use your writing to train AI, and we won’t start without asking you first. Any project can go into AI blackout.
Choose whose models do the work, or take our pick for each task, with the cost shown first.
Write, check the bible and answer the assistant from the train.
Google, Apple, Microsoft, an email code or a passkey.
With your chapter-heading styles and scene-break ornaments. Markdown and plain text too.
Imports and chapter scans run while you write. Stop any of them.
