The ChatGPT plugin puts your customer context in the chats your team already has open, with nothing to set up beyond signing in. Below is how to set it up, then one example workflow to try.

Three-step setup

Open Modem in ChatGPT. Go to the plugin listing, or choose Plugins and search for Modem.
Install and connect. Select the install button (+), sign in to Modem, and authorize the connection.
Start a chat. Type @ and choose Modem, then ask your question.

Every workflow follows the same loop. Explore the feedback you already have, act on what you find, then automate both so it keeps happening without you asking.

The example below is a loop most teams run by hand today. A customer reports a problem, someone files it for engineering, and when the fix ships, someone has to remember to tell the customer. You can run each prompt in ChatGPT.

Use Modem to find the most requested fixes from customer feedback in the last 30 days. Merge duplicates and count affected customers.

Once it’s installed, start with the question already on your mind. When an answer is worth getting every week, save it as a skill and schedule it.
